Almost 40 years after their mission in Vietnam, the four African Americans Paul, Melvin, Otis and Eddie meet again in Ho Chi Minh City. Here they want to search for the mortal remains of their then fallen leader Norman and bring them back to the USA. His grave, where they had also buried a large quantity of gold bars, reappeared after a mudslide. With the gold, the CIA wanted to buy information about the Vietcong from Lahu allies. The "Bloods", however, had other plans for the gold. They vowed to return to Vietnam one day and to give the gold to the people.
