plot synopsis:
The film deals with different periods of the life of the mathematician Alan Turing. His miserable youth at boarding school lead to a very successful time as a student at the Cambridge University. Because of his brilliant theses also the British military intelligence service becomes aware of him. Turing passes a test and becomes a member of a top-secret unity which occupies itself with decoding the with enigma encrypted German radio messages.
