During the First World War, Entente powers had to occupy the Gallipoli peninsula to allow the conquest of Istanbul. At the Battle of Gallipoli numerous soldiers were killed.
Three sons of the Australian farmer, Joshua Connor, joined the army, which was reported shortly after their deployment as a favor at the Battle of Gallipoli. After the unexpected death of his wife Joshua goes to Turkey to find the graves of his sons. In search of the graves of his sons, he learns that his son Arthur is still alive in a prison camp. So begins his journey into the interior of Turkey.
