plot synopsis:
This drama takes place in the ruins after World war II, where a former doctor and a former captain meet again. During the war the captain gave the order to kill women and children at the eastern front in Russia on Christmas 1942. Now he has a factory to make cooking pots out of old steel helmets. The doctor can not believe this change of mind and threatens him with a weapon. But the woman he is in love with stops him, even though she also is a victim of the Nazis. This film is very symbolic and mainly deals with the question of guilt and responsibility.
