plot synopsis:
The matyrdom of Lt. Comdr. Williamson who in 1964 is send to North Vietnam's Hoa Lo Prison, the most infamous P.O.W. camp in Hanoi, jokingly called Hanoi Hilton by its inmates. For nine years Williamson has to endure torture and suffering. But even more devastating is the understanding that at home public opinion has changed and the attention is vanishing.
