plot synopsis:
The film deals with the odyssey of the refugee ship St. Louis, that was supposed to save 937 Jews from the Nazis in 1939. In Cuba the landing of the ship is refused and all visas are declared invalid. Then the passengers are send from cost to cost, but nobody wants to give shelter to them.
