This film tells the story of Jewish couples, whose love survived a long seperation. For example there is David Rybowski, who fell in love with singer Zenia in the ghetto of Lodz. He doea not meet her till the end of WWII, when he finds her in the Displaced Persons Camp in Bergen-Belsen.
Bluma is as well in Bergen-Belsen, remembering her best friend Anszel, whom she later meets accidentally at the train station in Frankfurt.
