plot synopsis:
In 1856 Capt. Jeffrey Claybourne is discharged from his Regiment in India because he didn't fulfil a direct order, but just to save his men from slaughter. But still he is loyal to the Raj. And in the last scene he gets back the loyalty he gave to his men, in a situation, where India is in danger of mutiny.
