plot synopsis:
This film takes place during the Balkan War and deals with a Bosnian woman and her 12-year-old daugter. Esma and her daughter Sara live in Grbavica, a quarter of the Bosnian capital Sarajevo. When Sara needs money for a school trip, Esma tries to pay the full price, even though Sara can get a discount because her father is a war hero.
