plot synopsis:
Lt. Jeff Knight, fresh from Westpoint, is assigned to command a platoon of the 103rd Airborne division. Due to his lack of experience the enlisted men hardly respect him. During an advance he is wounded, most his men are killed. Combat veteran Sgt. McNamara helps him to deal with his horrible experience.
