plot synopsis:
On May 8th 1942 the Allies won the biggest battle in the Pacific. The battle in the Coral Sea was very technical, it was the first battle in which both sides never saw each other. This was the first battle between carriers. Japan lost the carrier Junyo and a destroyer. The United States, surprisingly enough, lost only one carrier, the converted battle cruiser Lexington, and one severely damaged.
