plot synopsis:
This documentary deals with the different forms of Jewish resistance against the politics of the Nazis. Until today the general opinion said, that the coup in the ghetto in Warsaw was the only armed fight of Jews against the regime. Proof for a larger Jewish resistance was systematically cept secret by the Nazis. In fact Jews were taking part in many forms of resistance, for example in the resistance in the Netherlands and France , as well as in underground units in Poland and the Sowjet Union. Approximately 1,5 million Jews were organized in the resistance.
