Printer Hans Behnke becomes unemployed in 1933 and arranges himself in spite of his opportunism against the NS-regime because of his family with the NSDAP. As Behnke begins to fight against the injustice of the nazis, he becomes denunciated by his son who is involved in the HJ. Behnke becomes arrested by the SS and adjudged to death.But the isochronal invasion of the Sovjets avoid the execution.
