plot synopsis:
A small group of withdrawing German soldiers is hiding in the Slovak village of Vidovce. The surroundings of the village are guarded by partisans who pratically destroyed all the roads that could possibly be used to escape. The last night of the war and the first day of the liberation are real tests of characters.
