plot synopsis:
This film is a portrait of the Jewish dancer Sylvin Rubinstein, who became a flamenco star in the 1950s as "Dolores" because the real "Dolores", his twin sister, was killed by the Nazis during the war. Today Rubinstein is 88 years old and lives a normal life in Hamburg. There nobody knows that he once was a part of the duo "Imperio y Dolores" together with his sister in the 1930s. Now for the first time the man with many faces tells his story about the good and the bad times as Jew and about his career on stage.
