“Only light fights in Da Nang”, these are more or less the words with which the west German newspapers reported over the events in the Vietnam war in the area of the hospital ship “Helgoland”. But the reality was an other: in masses came the dead and the injured ones. It were only civilian victims. The film shows the actions on the “Helgoland” with a consequence and clarity, which was unknown in the German TV.
