This documentary deals with the minister of propaganda Joseph Goebbels during the time of the Nazi regime until to his suicide in April 1945. Many scenes are from original shootings from the 20s until to the end of the war. Additionally parts of the diaries and speeches of Goebbels are read. The experiment is to draw up a psychological profile of the mighty man in the group of the leaders during the Third Reich. The film shows that there is just hypocrisy behind the mask of one of the most powerful men after 1933. Goebbels is a liar, he can't hide his megalomania and he is whining. His statements remain without comment because it is not the aim of the experiment to educate people. This is why the film is nearly not political.
