plot synopsis:
This documentary deals with the life of the young Hitler. The film shows his experiences as foot soldier in the German army in World War I. It contains excerpts from letters Hitler wrote at the front, as well as original war time film material from the USA, Great Britain and Germany. The documentary also contains an interview with Professor Ian Kershaw, who did a lot of academic research about the life of Hitler.
