Recrut Donald Duck has to go on a march with hi company. While initially being quite enthusiastic and counting the miles on his comrads back he soon becomes tired. When they reach their camp he only wants to have dinner but has to erect his tent first. Later on he is unable to sleep because of the noises of his comrades. It is only in the early morning hours that he can rest - and has to get up almost immediately again.
