This documentary deals with the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco. He ruled Spain and caused a lot of horror for forty years. But he saw himself as a "Caudillo" - as the saviour of Spain. Militarism and Catholicism shaped his politics, that are described by allies and relatives in this documentary.
