plot synopsis:
In 1914 Mexican rebel Pancho Villa needed money to finance his crusade against the corrupt government. He and US film producer D.W. Griffith plan to film Pancho's men in their fight against the government's army. So Frank Thayer and his film crew are sent to Mexico and Thayer gets horrified and at the same time fascinated by the rebel. In the end Villa's plan does not succeed as the American public turns its back towards the film and Villa's intentions to free his country.
