plot synopsis:
The film tells the story of two brothers during the Korean War. Shortly after the war broke out between North and South Korea, Lee Jin-seok, the younger of the two brothers, was forcibly recruited. When Lee Jin-tae tries to free his little brother from the situation, he is also forcibly recruited. However, he manages to ensure that they are assigned to the same company so that he can protect his brother. During the war, the two change and it comes to disputes. In between, they are separated and it is unclear whether they will ever meet again.
