General Glen McMahon, well known for his success rate, is sent to Afghanistan to stabilize the situation there. He is confident that he will make peace in his own way. However, the situation is not as easy as he imagines, because it lacks strength and motivation. All signs are on withdrawal. The last chance for him is to put together a team of PR men and elite soldiers, with whom he travels across the country and tries to make peace. The situation becomes more and more to a meaningless and desperate struggle that is only to be lost and even brings this highly decorated general to his limits.
