Hollander, an american reporter, himself war veteran from World War II, makes his way to Nicaragua, to report on the ongoing civil war between rebells and government, in which US troups are being involved as well. After an injury he encounters Hancock, a surprisingly young man he met before in the France of WW 2. The reporter discovers that he and his fellows are vampires being in a fight against the warlord Vladimir, who is a mighty vampire as well.
