plot synopsis:
During WW I, a 14-year old kitchen boy is inspired by a partisan sailor to set up a youth underground. The aim is to he establishes the network to combat the occupying German army. When the sailor is captured by police, the boy leaves the underground to save him. Then he returns to the Red Army and saves his friends, who are about to be hanged.
