plot synopsis:
This documentary deals with the city Leipzig at the end of World War II. The films deals with the time from April to July 1945. The focus is set on the last days of Nationalsocialism, on the occupying American forces and the entering of the Red Army. The documentary contains unrelesed film material, partly from American archives. Time vitnesses talk about the feelings of Leipzigs population during the last days of war.
