plot synopsis:
USA 1965: a group of young recruits about to be send to Vietnam spend a weekend in the barracks. Their boredom, their fear, and the uncertainty of their future mounts the tension between them and eventually turn to open aggression against their black comrades and another one who discovers that he is homosexual.
