plot synopsis:
Lieutenant Maury, a daring pilot in World War I, is well hated by his comrades for his recklessness and his snootiness. Nonetheless he becomes friends with the young and unexperienced pilot Herbillon. Herbillion is completely devastated when he learns that the woman he just fell in love with is Maury`s neglected wife Denise. This triangle is broken up when during an airborne battle against the Germans one of the two men sacrifices his life fo the other.
