plot synopsis:
The movie shows a group of Australian soldiers in the Vietnam war. While it does have some fight sequences, it focuses primarily on the soldiers' activities away from the battle fields, their boredom and their lethargy. Their return to Australia, and how they judge it differently after having been to war is also show at the end of the movie.
