This film deals with one of the elite Nazi fighting units in 1939/40. In the first part of the film the troops destroy a british sabotage platoon in Romania. In the second part the troops are behind enemy lines in Russia. Their mission is to hold a strategic important bridge, which is not that easy beacause of their isolated position. This film distorts history and stengthens the ledgend of heroism instead of stopping it.
