plot synopsis:
The movie deals with the biography of Chris Kyle who is considered to be the most effective sniper of US-military history, having reportedly executed 160 killings. The plot partly takes place during Kyles time of service in Iraq, partly after his return to the States. Generally refraining from personal judgement, the movie furthermore depicts the controversy on the person Chris Kyle, who is believed to be a hero by many, while others declare him a sadistic murderer.
