plot synopsis:
During the Cold War the Air Force develops a new model of the B-52-bombers. USAF veteran Chuck Brennan wants his daughter to end her relationship with his commanding Lieutenant Colonel Jim Herlihy whom he mistrusts since an incident in the Korean War. During a test flight of the new model it catches fire and Herlihy rescues Brennans life. After returning home Brennan accepts the relationship of Herlihy with his daughter.
