plot synopsis:
The movie is set in an army training camp in Israel in the 1950s. The soldiers deployed there are either physically or mentally unable to participate in combat. They are from most different geographical, etnical and social backgrounds, which leads to numeros conflicts. The plot focusses Alon, who believes to be repositioned in combat soon, and Avner, who is not interested in the army at all and rather tries to win the favour of an Israeli upper-class girl.

Amnon Salomon won the award for "best cinematography" of the Israeli Film Academy, who nominated the movie as well in the categories "best costume design", "best director", "best music" and "best supporting actor".
In addition, actor Assaf Ben-Shimon won the "Haggiag Award" at the "Jerusalem Film Festival". Director Dover Koshashvili was nominated for the "Grand Prix" at "Warsaw International Film Festival".
