plot synopsis:
The film takes place at the end of World War II and deals with the American major Falconer, who hides with a group of wounded soldiers in the castle of duke Maldorais. During the troop recovers from the front experiences, Falconer starts an affair with the noble daughter of the duke. But the idyll will be over soon, because the German army is getting closer and closer to the castle.
