A newspaper announces that american weapons - if kept clean - are the best. Private Snafu now thinks of himself as invincible until he encounters a german soldier. He fights him with his gun that is too dirty to shoot, afterwards with a machinegun that becomes so hot that it melts and in the end with a huge cannon that has become so rusty over time that it no longer works. When even his flight vehicle wouldn't work he goes straight into a german concentration camp.
