The film “Jarhead 3 - The Siege” is a 2016 American feature film. It is the sequel to the 2005 film “Jarhead - Welcome to the Dirt” and the 2014 film “Jarhead 2 - Back to Hell”. Corporal Albright is a member of the Marine Corps Security Guards. His first assignment is to guard the US embassy in a capital city in the Middle East against minor demonstrations. However, apart from routine exercises, the Marines have no other tasks and so they pass their time with video games and minor scuffles. A numerically superior group of armed and well-trained terrorists launch an attack on the embassy in order to kill an informant, although Albright recognizes one of the attackers shortly beforehand and passes on his findings to Ambassador Cahill. Since the latter does not believe him, the embassy staff are completely surprised by the attack. The ambassador, the informant and some of the staff have to hold out in the embassy shelter until a MARSOC rescue squad led by Major Lincoln frees them from their situation.
