After the death of family patriarch a wealthy Argentinian family is torn apart and scattered over several European conries. The old amn has warned his nephew Heinrich, that his commitment to the Nazi party bring down the wrath of the titular Four Horsemen: War, Conquest, Famine, and Death. Heinrich`s cousin Julio lives as a care-free playboy in Argentina. It only when war eventually breaks out that Julio travel to Europe out of curiosity. When his mistress`s hus band is killed by the Gestapo, he joins the French Resistence, thus keeping the promise he gave to his grandfather to thwarting Heinrich`s plans. Heinrich and Julio die as leads allied bombers the way to Heinrich`s headquarters in Normandy.
