Private Snafu finds himself in the desert where he has to catch up to the retreated enemy forces. He has to watch out for booby traps, initially laughing at them. Yet, later he has problems identifying them and is only able to escape most of them by a mixture of pure luck and final insight - but not the last two, not even in heaven.
