Mad US-general Jack D. Ripper barricades himself in his air-base and trickers the machinery of atomic mass destruction against the Soviet Union. The president of the US is completely helpless, the Soviet Head of the party on the other end of the "hot line" is seemngly drunk. The falcons in the White House camly look forward to the strike. When Ripper assailed by melancholy mood commits suicide and the code for the denail of the attack is finally found, it is already to late. While the nuclaer counter-attack is on its way, doctor Strangelove appears from his hiding. He is a German scientists who starts to explain his weird theories of survial and the master race with his right arm compulsively performing the nazi salute.
