plot synopsis:
This documentary deals with one of the worst ship catastrophes ever. On April 16th in 1945 the ship "Goya" started the journey from the island Hela to Swinemünde. On board were 7000 German refugees and wounded soldiers. The journey was very dangerous, because the bay of Danzig was full of Sowjet submarines. The "Goya" was hit by two torpedos and sank in only seven minutes. The documentary searches for the wreck in 76 meter under the sea and reconstructs the destiny of the "Goya" and the passengers.
