plot synopsis:
Almost the whole world is destroyed by nuclear wars, only Australia is left untouched so far, but no one knows for how long. One American sub-marine has survived and has made its way to Australia, where it gets a hostile welcome. An Australian scientist believes that somewhere in the north the level of radiation is lower, and sends the Captain of the sub-marine on the mission, together with his crew and a number of civilians.
