This documentary deals with the anti-Nazi force called "The Red Orchestra". The group was regarded as a serious danger to the Nazi leaders, who started a counter-intelligence program that tried to make the members of "The Red Orchestra" look like Communist revolutionaries. But that was not the truth. "The Red Orchestra" was a political and social group of which nearly fourty percent were women. They wanted to stop Hitler and fascism in Germany. Mildred Fish-Harnack was one of these members. She was the only American who was executed by the Nazis during the war. Helmut Roloff was one of the last surviving members of "The Red Orchestra". His son Stefan Roloff created this film with the help of interviews with his father.
