plot synopsis:
Toxic gas was the first weapon of mass destruction invented and used. In August 1915, the German army started using gas as a weapon in Ypres, Belgium. This documentary explains what effect this new weapon had on soldiers and civilians and why the gas did not become a widley used weapon in World War II. Also, the danger of toxic gas today is explained.
