A composition of sequences from archive footage divided into several domains: feature film, amateur- film, trick film, propaganda – added with contemporary dance- and light music of the Third Reich. The film is demerged in topics, each escorted by a song. „Hitlers Hitparade“ analyses the seductive components of the nationalsocialism time in Germany.
The film shows the pretended non-political side of everyday life, presents heroins of that time like Ilse Werner, Zarah Leander and Marika Rökk and sounds the harmless appearing po-songs like "Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein", "Ich brauche keine Millionen" and "Wenn die Lichter wieder scheinen".
The most famous pop-songs from nazi-time Germany leed through this film, who proves the horrifying obverses and knowingly manipulations with a collage from original documents of this era.
