After WWII an american officer comes back to Munich in order to search for the family who hid him from the nazis. He comes to know that only one daughter of this family is still alive. She works at a waitress now and hates Americans, but he falls in love with her. During one of his visitations in the club he meets a member of a criminal gang and decides to put a stop to their game.
