plot synopsis:
Anna, daughter of farmer Jobst, wants to travel to Prag, the "golden city". Her father tries to argue her out of this plan. When engineer Leitweins from Prag arrives to arrange cultivation projects, Jobst disclaims him away from his farm. As her father and Thomas, her fiancé are away, Anna takes her chance to travel to Prag. There she falls in live with hier cousin Toni, who only speculates for the farm of Jobst. Anna stays in Prag and gets disinherited. When Toni leaves Anna who is pregnant, everything seems to be lost.
