plot synopsis:
The documentary deals with the "operation Hercules". In this secret operation German and Italian parachute and airborne troops should occupy the held of Britain Mediterranean island of Malta. The aim of the plan was to establish a base between Europe and Africa, and to prevent the disruption of supply routes for Germany using the island by the Allies. 1942, the plan was abandoned due to various concerns.
