plot synopsis:
This film takes place during the war between Japan and Russia in 1904. The story is told from the Japanese point of view and deals with Admiral Heihachiro Togo, who is sending out troops to attack the Russians and Major Genjiro Akashi, who makes secret negotiations with the enemy.
