plot synopsis:
In the beginning of August 1945 the Japaneses don't want to capitulate, even though they are strategically beaten. But then the Americans throw atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The catastrophe makes the whole nation suffer. With the help of single destinies the film shows how hard the innocent population was hit.
