plot synopsis:
Sophie Scholl and her brother Hans both study at the university of Munich. It is February 1943 and Germany is in the middle of World War II. At this time a small group called "White Rose", including Sophie and Hans, plan a leaflet action at university. The leaflets they lay out, call upon the Germans to resist against Hitler. But Sophie is caught throwing the leaflets down a hall. She is interrogated by the Gestapo and commits having written the leaftlet. On February 22nd in 1943 she, her brother and a friend are executed.
